Tactical Radio Gear LLC, 1-Year Limited Warranty
This warranty becomes effective at the date of the consumer purchase, or if shipped from factory date product is shipped to customer. It covers both our kits and fully assembled products.

Who is covered: This warranty covers the original owner of the Tactical Radio Gear LLC product. Tactical Radio Gear, LLC products transferred by the purchaser to a third party, either by sale, gift or other method, who is not disclosed to Tactical Radio Gear, LLC t at the time of original order, are not covered by this warranty. If the Tactical Radio Gear, LLC product is being purchased indirectly for a third party, the third party's name and address must be provided at time of order to ensure warranty coverage.
What is covered: During the first year after date of purchase, Tactical Radio Gear, LLC will replace defective or missing parts free of charge (postage-paid). Additionally, we will also correct any failure to kits or assembled units caused by defective parts and materials. Furthermore, if the product proves defective during the warranty period; and you follow the instructions provided for returning the Product, we will take one of the following actions:

Replace the Product with either a new Product that is the same as or similar to the Product you purchased or:
Repair the Product.

Note: Purchaser pays inbound shipping to Tactical Radio Gear LLC for warranty repair.

While equipment is under warranty, Tactical Radio Gear, LLC will pay return shipping by USPS ground service, to addresses within the continental USA. Alaska, & Hawaii. Locations outside the contiguous U.S., return shipping is paid by the owner. Shipping cost for equipment not under warranty is the responsibility of the owner.

What is not covered: This warranty does not cover kit assembly errors. It also does not cover damage caused by misuse, negligence, or builder modifications; or any performance malfunctions involving non-Tactical Radio Gear, LLC accessory equipment.

Note: The use of acid-core solder, water-soluble flux solder, or any corrosive or conductive flux or solvent will void this warranty in its entirety.

Note: Not covered is reimbursement for loss of use, inconvenience, customer assembly or alignment time, or cost of unauthorized service.

Limitation of incidental or consequential damages: This warranty does not extend to non-Tactical Radio Gear, LLC equipment or components used in conjunction with our products. Any such repair or replacement is the responsibility of the customer. Tactical Radio Gear, LLC will not be liable for any special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to any loss of business or profits.

Pacific time (weekdays only) at 541-614-0973. When possible, please use email rather than calling. This provides us with a record of the details of your problem.

Repair Service: If necessary, you may return your Tactical Radio Gear, LLC product for repair for a nominal charge. Note: We offer email and phone support to get your problem resolved.

Repair Warranty: Tactical Radio Gear, LLC warrants its repair work and/or replacement parts for the duration of the original warranty period or at least 90 days, whichever is longer. This Warranty is conditioned upon proper use of the product, and covers manufacturing defects in materials, and workmanship encountered in normal, reasonable use of the product during the warranty period.

What is not covered:

Normal wear and tear
Non-warranty repairs due to product failures not caused by original repair.
Product upgrades/option installation
Product has been mistreated or mishandled
Product has been improperly installed or configured
Product has been modified from its original condition
Product has been subject to an accident
Product has been subject to lightning, power surges, incorrect electrical voltage, or any electrical stress
Product has been subject to acts of nature

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

You must contact Tactical Radio Gear, LLC first, before sending your product, in-order to obtain an authorization number for the return, shipping address and current information on repair fees and turn-around times. You may contact us by email at support@tacticalradiogear.com. Shipping instructions will be included with the Repair Authorization.

Our minimum repair cost is $50.00, plus parts and return shipping. If you wish, you may set a limit for the repair charges, and we will contact you when we have reached that point before proceeding. If we determine the problem is wholly due to a defect in components supplied by Tactical Radio Gear, LLC (within the one-year limited warranty period), we will not charge you for the repair. Please read the warranty information above for additional details on what is covered.

Contact Customer Support for the Repair Authorization before shipping your equipment for repair. You may email Customer Support at support@tacticalradiogear.com to request an authorization number.

Standard Equipment Warrant

General Warranty

For a period of one (1) year after equipment receipt, Tactical Radio Gear, LLC here after referred to as (TRG); warrants that the Scout rotor shall be free from defects in material, and workmanship.

Additional Warranty for Firmware

Manufacturer firmware (embedded software accompanying the Scout rotor MCU, is warranted to perform in substantial compliance with the specifications contained in the Operation Manual, for the Scout rotor.

Remedies

Seller’s sole obligations, and the buyer’s exclusive remedies with respect to goods determined to be defective shall be limited to repair, replacement or refund of the purchase price, at Seller’s option. Replacement may constitute, at Seller’s option, a new, refurbished or functionally equivalent unit. Seller will reimburse the buyer for the cost of returning to Seller the item covered under this Warranty. All remedies are expressly conditioned upon the buyer’s compliance with its obligations herein to comply with the provisions of the Operating Instructions for the Scout rotor. If the buyer fails to comply with these Operating Instructions, the buyer shall bear the full cost of any service, including but not limited to repair, replacement and return.

You’re Obligations

This warranty is expressly conditioned on the buyer’s obligation to complete installation of, perform regular maintenance on and care for any equipment, and supplies in accordance with any Operating Instructions for the Scout rotor system components; options and accessories. A copy of which the buyer acknowledges receiving, and to which the buyer agrees to be bound. If the buyer does not comply with such instructions, and that failure results in the need for replacement parts, the buyer shall bear the full cost of such replacement parts.

SELLER’S WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE, AND SELLER DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER

WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

All products sold by Tactical Radio Gear LLC, are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of shipment. If you believe this product has a defect in material or workmanship or has failed during normal use within the warranty period, please contact Tactical Radio Gear, in the listed contact information for assistance. If product repair or replacement is necessary, the Customer will be solely responsible for all shipping charges, freight, insurance and proper packaging to prevent breakage in transit, whether or not the product is covered by this warranty. All shipments of repaired or replaced products by Tactical Radio Gear LLC, is F.O.B. Lincoln City, Oregon 97367 USA.

This warranty does not apply to defects resulting from mishandling, operation outside of design limits, misapplication, or unauthorized modification; breaking the Warranty Seal(s) voids all stated and/or implied warranties. No other warranties are expressed or implied. Tactical Radio Gear, LLC liability shall be limited to the actual purchase price of any defective unit to which a claim is made, and shall in no event include the Customer's, lost profits or goodwill, or any other direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages. Tactical Radio Gear LLC, is not responsible for any damage to, or caused by the installed Antenna in any use circumstance.
