For Capacitor(s)/Roller Inductor(s) or the accurate positioning of virtually any mechanical device. The DTC-3.5 is an affordable, precision turns counter, suitable for many types of applications.

The DTC-3.5, is ideal for rotating, and fine-tuning capacitors, roller inductors; and is the perfect positioning device, for both Amateur, and commercial amplifiers, and tuners; to not only include RF devices; but sub-systems requiring precision positioning of its components.

The DTC-3.5, is a precision, commercial grade, digital LED turns counter. Made in the USA, using the highest quality components, and materials.

The DTC-3.5 is designed, using dual brass-bushings, to support the main tuning shaft. 

Mounting: The DTC-3 is furnished with a precision, 1/4"-1/4" double female, flexible shaft coupler; for connection to capacitors, variable inductors; or multi-turn pots with 1/4" inch shafts. All necessary mounting hardware; and wiring is provided; to include a 1:1 cut-out template, for mounting the assembly to a panel.

POWER REQUIREMENTS: 6-36 VDC @ 200mA max current requirements.

COUNTER SPECIFICATIONS
  • 3 digit high efficiency Red LED display.

  • 0.3 inch LED Character height (See display image in picture gallery)

  • Adjustable digital counting range: 000-999

  • Positioning: 8 counts per-revolution, for precise control, @ 45 degrees of resolution.

  • Customer adjustable count range/calibration.

  • A universal 1/4" shaft coupler, at the rear, provides for precise, convenient linking to component(s) with standard 1/4" shaft(s).

TUNING KNOBS
  • 4 different styles of tuning knobs are available for the DTC-3.5.

  • The DTC-3.5 basic price is without a knob. Many customers may already have a tuning knob that they would like to use. The knob is selected as an option, when purchasing the DTC-3.5.
